Rivera’s Bilingual Preschool is licensed Oregon Certified Child Care Center in The Dalles, OR. We currently hold an Oregon Quality Recognition and Improvement System Rating of Commitment to Quality in progress to become a 4-Star Quality Rated Program. We have been awarded the Preschool Promise Grant for 2023-27 because we provide a research-based, professional learning environment.

Rivera’s Bilingual Preschool offers a caring, loving environment where your child can learn and grow. Our goal is to encourage your child to develop cognitive, social-emotional, physical, speech and language learning skills. Our program offers both Spanish and English immersion instruction. Children are moving every day with a variety of gross motor opportunities both indoors and outdoors. We know healthy, moving bodies feed healthy, moving minds. Children learn best through life experience and play and the early years of a child’s life are busy!

Our Curriculum

Our program uses high-quality curricula materials that incorporate instructional teaching and invitations for children to discover for themselves the possibilities of the world around them. Our staff use The Creative Curriculum and Procare to optimize your child’s learning experience. Information on both these teaching tools is available to all families who attend or inquire about our program. Our greatest joy is seeing your child ready to go to kindergarten ready to learn academically, socially, and emotionally.
